Refugees need your help now.
For nearly 40 years and through seven presidential administrations, World Relief has partnered with the U.S. government and local churches to welcome people fleeing violence and persecution, most of whom are women and children. This is a critical time for refugees and we are witnesses to the greatest displacement of people the world has known.
As a result of the recent decision by the presidential administration to lower the number of refugees allowed to resettle in the U.S. by more than half, World Relief has been forced to close five U.S. offices and layoff over 140 staff members.
The world changes, but our calling doesn’t. Still we stand.
We have seen with joy hundreds of thousands of lives transformed, from refugee families reunited to children returning to school. Your gift will serve refugees who have recently come to the U.S.—helping them adjust to life in America—and preserve our remaining U.S. offices and expertise until the refugee admissions flow increases again.
World Relief and the refugees we serve need your help.
