With the fall season upon us, many refugee families have now begun a new school year—quite possibly their children’s first in a new country. They dream of the opportunities that a quality education will make possible for their children.
And yet, many refugee families—some just beginning new jobs, or currently looking for work—have struggled to provide their children with the basic school supplies needed to ensure a quality education.
Backpacks represent a simple, yet tangible way of letting refugee children know that their futures matter, and are worth investing in.
This school year, support World Relief as we provide the gift of education to vulnerable children. For many refugee children, a backpack full of school supplies is much more than notebooks, pens, folders, markers; it can be the life-changing encouragement that shows them someone cares about their future.
