• In 2004, World Relief began programs in Sudan.
    • World Relief provides nutrition services and supports several healthcare facilities in Sudan. In 2015, seven health clinics conducted over 86,000 consultations for primary care.
    • World Relief also supports 26 feeding centers to address the nutritional needs of children, pregnant women and nursing mothers.
    • In 2015, over 34,000 people received enhanced access to potable water.
    • Through local Peace and Reconciliation Committees (PRCs), conflict is mapped and prevented so healing can spread. In 2015, 26 PRCs were functioning and over 1,000 community members participated in peace awareness sessions where they learned to encourage peacebuilding in their towns and villages.
