Background & Current Response:

Because of torrential monsoon rains, nearly 41 million people have been affected by flooding and landslides in Bangladesh, India and Nepal. At least 900 people are known to have died, and that number continues to rise. Hundreds of thousands of people across the region have been forced to flee their homes and are in immediate need of food and lifesaving supplies.

As World Relief has monitored this situation, it has become clear that thousands more could die in the upcoming weeks and months. So we are acting now—working tirelessly with our partners on the ground to meet the urgent needs of the vulnerable affected by the floods. We pray you’ll join us.
