Through our existing partnerships, World Relief is meeting the urgent needs of the people of Mosul. Our immediate response includes distributing non-food items (NFIs), as well as hygiene and sanitation kits, and we will continue to shape our response as the situation on the ground becomes more clear.
World Relief, with local partners, has been working to meet the unmet needs of Iraq and Syrian refugees and internally displaced people (IDPs) in Iraq since 2014, providing basic assistance to displaced families, as well as working to address the psychosocial needs of displaced children by providing for safe spaces for recreation, learning and support. Our long term presence in Iraq has strategically positioned us to be among the first to respond to the liberation of Mosul.
World Relief is committed to serving the families of Mosul as they restore their lives and build a more hopeful future.
