World Relief, along with our implementing partner, Mission East, is meeting urgent needs in Mosul by distributing non-food items (NFIs), hygiene kits, and bottled water to provide immediate assistance to these families in critical need. World Relief, with local partners, has been working to meet the unmet needs of Iraq and Syrian refugees and internally displaced people (IDPs) in Iraq since 2014, providing basic assistance to displaced families, as well as working to address the psychosocial needs of displaced children by providing for safe spaces for recreation, learning and support. Our long term presence in Iraq has strategically positioned us to be among the first to respond to the liberation of Mosul.

World Relief and Mission East are committed to assisting and helping sustain the families of Mosul for as long as they are displaced.
